2011 BFCB Schedule
The Band’s schedule, as of this date, still allows for some further planning, so I encourage you to keep in contact with our Face Book page Belle CowboyBand (notice the spacing?) for any updates.
June 5, Sunday – Belle Fourche Sr. Citizen talent show. An event organized by our Jean Claire Dahlinger that will probably be located at St. James Episcopal Church. Must be over age 55 to participate so that shouldn’t curtail too many of our members? ;-)
June 29 – July 4, Wednesday thru Monday, Black Hills Roundup - It’s our 80th anniversary! The schedule is full and there are opportunities galore for your participation. Rehearsals will be located at the Middle School Band Room (MSBR).
Wednesday, June 29 – 7pm Concert Rehearsal, Belle Fourche MSBR
Thursday, June 30 – 9:30 am German Band Rehearsal, MSBR, Long Term Care Concert 10:30 am; 7pm Concert Rehearsal, MSBR
Friday, July 1 – 10am Concert Rehearsal MSBR; 12pm, Picnic at Herrmann Park, 7pm Concert, Herrmann Park
Saturday, July 2 – 6:15 pre-rodeo concert
Sunday, July 3 – 6:15 pre-rodeo concert
Monday, July 4 – 10am lineup for 10:30 parade, 1:15pm pre rodeo concert; 6pm farewell gathering at the Moose Lodge!
July 30, Saturday – Days of 76, Deadwood – lineup at 9:30am for 10am parade. We ride a trailer to make the show easier for us all!
August 13, Saturday – Faith Stock Show and Rodeo - These folks called us last year, pleading to have us attend, it’s about the same distance as Eklaka, Mt so this year let’s try to get to Faith, SD instead. Times to be determined later.
August 18. Thursday, Butte/Lawrence County Fair BBQ –Times will be announced later.
Oct. 21, Friday BF Arts Council Octoberfest – This will be the second annual for the event and was a fun time last year! They want us back again with that German Band!
Other appearances may easily occur as time and people allow. The Christmas Light Parade is not a sure thing as I write this but we shouldn’t totally count it out yet.
